Founder:
Cesar Augusto Díaz Millán, founder and general manager of Colombia Rafting Expediciones, born in 1978 in San Gil, Santander. Studied tourism and travel agency administration.
His experience and dedication has taken him where he’s wanted to go.
He has more than 11 years of experience exploring rivers and routes for rafting and kayaking in Colombia and other countries.
Rivers in colombia that he has explored:
-fonce (upper), –mogoticos (upper and lower),-suarez-tobia-chicamocha- gualí-guarinó-oibita-negro-san juan-naranjo- la miel- rio negro-sumapaz-cauca-guaitará- cabo norte- ancho, among others.
Rivers that he has descended abroad, as a rafting guide:
Peru: Apurimac-Vinalcota-Quillabamba-Cañete-Colca.
Argentina: Mendoza- Diamante- Atuel
Chile: Futalefu-Miupu-Trancura
Ecuador: Quijos, blanco, Napo, Misahuali, Anzu

Training:
• First Colombian to be certified as unrestricted rafting instructor (class 1 to 5) by the IRF (International Rafting Federation).
• Certified as whitewater rescue technition by Rescue 3 International.
• Training in the use of rescue techniques in inhospitable areas for rafting and kayaking in a self sufficient way.
• Training in first aid and tourist medical.
• First aid, Colombian Red Cross.
• Training in skills SENA (REGULATION: Gide groups on rafting runs according to the route defined and the level of the river).

• Integral member of the champion rafting team 2001
• Founder and president of Guanex rafting club.
• Captain of national rafting team 2000.
• Member integrante of national rafting team 2000.
• Captain of GUANEX national rafting team that participated at the world rafting championships in Ecuador 2005.

• Organiser of the fifth national rafting championship 2005
• Director of the technical organising committee of the second National Rafting Championship in Barinas –Venezuela-2006.
• Organiser of the first National and International Kayaking Encounter. San Gil –Santander 2007.
• Colaborated as a judge in the Amazon Rafting Cup 2004, Río Quijos, Ecuador.
• Member of the organising committee of the third national rafting championship.
• Current IRF representative for Colombia.
• Member of the safety committee in the homage to the Río Magdalena, 2005.
• Member of the committee for training and education of guides for IRF exams, 2005.
• Currently trains: rescue and lifesaving, rafting guides, kayaking.
